Queen Elizabeth II seems to be on the mend, with reports confirming that she is in good condition to host her family for Christmas.
Sources Claim Queen Elizabeth II Is ‘Feeling Far Better’ And Ready To Host Christmas
The 95-year-old monarch has been going through a series of health struggles of late, as shown by her state visits that have been cancelled.
The most prominent one was when the Queen did not attend Remembrance Sunday to honour all those who had died in the war on the grounds of medical advice.
But positive news started to emerge when current British Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that he had seen her in good spirits.
That is why sources, according to the Mirror, indicate that the Queen will be aiming to travel to her estate in Norfolk on December 17th.
If these plans were to go ahead, then it will be significant for the following reasons. First of all, it will be the first time that the Queen has done such a Christmas ceremony without the presence of her late husband, Prince Philip.
Secondly, there is a chance that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not be attending the service, signifying the strained relations between them and the Royals.
This begs the question, who will be in attendance? Well, we can expect some of the following guests to attend: Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Prince Willam and Kate Middleton, to name a few.
This anticipation has only gone on to raise the Queen’s spirits for what she hopes to be a better 2022 for herself, as well as the country at large.
A source remarked: “The Queen has told everyone she is feeling far better of late and is very much looking forward to welcoming them for Christmas.
“Like many other families, this will be the first time Her Majesty can gather with her extended family after being kept apart for so long due to the coronavirus pandemic.”
Time will tell whether the Queen does manage to go through with those plans, but on current reflection, it shows that the monarch still has plenty of strength to persevere with her Royal duties.
