Bryan Danielson is working his way through The Dark Order on his way to Hangman Page. Evil Uno & Colt Cabana have already had their heads kicked in, and tonight as Hangman Page fills in for Jim Ross on commentary – he can only watch as Alan Angels tries his best to survive The American Dragon. Angels released a video mentioning how tonight’s match takes place in the same venue where he graduated high school. A win tonight would be the biggest of his career, but Bryan has promised he’ll “get his head kicked in… and maybe worse.”
Alan Angels Fails To Slay The American Dragon
Alan Angels would last in the ring with Kenny Omega on Dynamite, and held his own. A win here would be an upset – but isn’t impossible. The crowd was chanting for him as Bryan took him down into a single leg crab. Angels got the ropes, but Bryan had until five. He’d get Bryan into the corner and nail some heavy chops before some downward southpaw blows to the face. Angels would be floored with a European uppercut, before some knee drops found his face.
Bryan would nail some more heavy strikes in the corner. Angels would keep moving forward before being caught with a double arm suplex into a cross armbreaker. He’d get the ropes, and send Bryan to the outside where he’d nail a suicide dive and a huge asai moonsault! Back in the ring, a Spanish Fly would get a two count, and Angels kept pushing.
Bryan Danielson Calls Out His Next Opponents
He went up top, but missed the moonsault press and took the running knee strike. This one was over, but Danielson would kick the head of Angels in first. He would lock in a heel hook, and Angels tapped out. Angels would suffer for a bit longer as Danielson refused to let the hold go.
After the match, he’d be granted some mic time. If that was the best that this town has to offer – he kicked their ass. Not only that, but he hopes he pulled Angels MCL loose as well. Next week, he will take out John Silver. Then after that, he’s got Hangman Page. Silver would stop Page from hitting the ring, wanting to ‘Touch Bryan tonight.’ Bryan fled the ring, mouthed off to Hangman Page some more ahead of their match – now confirmed for Winter Is Coming, before making his way to the back.
