Andrade El Idolo has found himself pulled into the feud between Cody Rhodes & Malakai Black. He’s met Rhodes in two tag team contests, and now they meet one on one for the first time. These are two of the best multi-generational wrestlers in the world, and provided this one is kept in the ring – we could have a classic on our hands. However, that is for another day – tonight is an ATLANTA STREET FIGHT! Andrade brought a dagger to this match, he understood the assignment.

Andrade brought a dagger to this match, he understood the assignment. Even in his hometown, Rhodes would get a mixed reaction from fans – but like always he will likely win them over in the end. It was 70/30 towards cheers. Arn Anderson got 100% cheers. Andrade rushed Rhodes down on the ramp, and Arn would take the fight to Jose on the ramp as well.
Rhodes threw a trash can at Andrade as they went into the crowd, before hitting a moonsault off the barricade. Andrade pulled this one near the ring, tossing Rhodes onto the steel steps. Rhodes shoved Andrade into the ring post, before getting a steel chair from T-Pain at ringside and used it to great effect. Andrade took a powerslam in the ring, before nailing a low blow as Rhodes took too long playing to the fans with his weight belt.
The heavy leather belt was used to attack Rhodes before being thrown into the crowd. Andrade pulled a laptop from the bag of Jose, and smashed it over Rhode’s head. Steel chair was next off the head of Rhodes. Andrade grabbed a table, but the crowd cheered so he put it back.

Back in the ring, Andrade put a chair on the chest of Rhodes and nailed a split legged moonsault for a two count. After a commercial break, Andrade was getting desperate as Rhodes would not stay down. He went for another chair assisted moonsault, but it was instead thrown into his face. Rhodes nailed a big powerslam, and Andrade rolled outside.
The dive was blocked with a chair, and Andrade wanted to nail Shadow on the exposed floor – but Rhodes was able to counter. He’d pull out a Sledgehammer, and then a Golden Shovel, which Jose took to the face. Andrade by this point recovered and nailed a splash to the outside. He’d pull Rhodes back into the ring, put a chair over his face and nailed the double knee strike in the corner.
This was still not enough for a three count, so Andrade grabbed a table, and Rhodes went through it after a hip toss. Another table entered the ring, and Andrade put Rhodes on top of it. Rhodes would block the dive, and drove Andrade through with a powerbomb after Brandi Rhodes returned to light a table on FIRE! Andrade missed the fire off the reverse superplex, and Rhodes took the burn, but still got the win.
