The Gunn Club are no longer an undefeated force in AEW, but that doesn’t matter for Austin Gunn. He’s not the one who took the fall in the match, and now has a big chance to shine outside of the ring. Gunn is part of the cast for an upcoming reality show, which will see him live on a Ranch.
Trying Out The Ranch Life
Austin Gunn will be a part of an upcoming reality show called “Relatively Famous: Ranch Rules.” It will be aired on the E! Network, with first two episodes slated for release on January 12th. A preview will air the day before, coming right after the People’s Choice Awards.
Other announced names by People include the following. Hana Giraldo (daughter of Pat Benatar,) Taylor “Tay” Hasselhoff (son of David Hasselhoff,) Jasmin Lawrence (daughter of Martin Lawrence), Myles O’Neal (son of Shaquille O’Neal), Redmond Parker (son of Ray Parker Jr.,) Harry James Thornton (son of Billy Bob Thornton), and Ebie (son of Eazy-E.)
When put among these names, Austin Gunn makes a lot of sense, also being the child of someone who was famous in the 90’s. The show is pitched as these people living on a ranch for 30 days, helping it recover from a shutdown due to COVID-19, while finding how to escape the shadows of their famous parents.
Austin Gunn Can Afford To Be Off AEW TV For A While
This will mean no Austin Gunn on AEW TV for a while. While in the early pandemic days, WWE needed him to be the entire crowd, fans are back in the arenas again. They might have him written off TV, or just have him vanish. It’s not like he’s CM Punk or Brian Cage, few will notice if Gunn isn’t showing up in AEW for a few weeks.
Gunn will have a nice chance to show his personality on this show. In addition to being a professional wrestler, he has a budding rap career – which might come into play during this show. Wrestler & Rapper is a very interesting combo, but Max Caster is better known for this combo in AEW.
