Prince Harry was reportedly outraged by his brother Prince William questioning whether the timing of his romance with Meghan Markle was the right thing.
Book Claims Prince Harry Was Outraged By Prince William Questioning His Relationship With Meghan Markle
That is according to author Christopher Andersen in his book entitled ‘Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan.’ Meghan and Harry have never looked back ever since they decided to tie the knot and leave the Royal family in 2020.
During their marriage, they welcomed two children: Archie and Lilibet. While that has gone on to suggest that the marriage was the right thing to do, William was apparently not convinced during the earlier moments.
According to the book, William had stated the following: “Why rush things?” to which Harry apparently was “furious that his brother was actively seeking to have others interfere in his personal affairs.”
Clearly, William had some reservations about his brother’s decision to go ahead with Meghan. And looking back, he may have been justified for the following reasons. First of all, there were numerous claims of disharmony towards Meghan from her own family members.
This included statements from her father, Thomas Markle, as well as her brother Thomas Markle Jr, the latter of which had written a letter to Harry warning him not to marry his sister.
That is why William had allegedly stated the relationship was “like something [he’d] never seen.” Harry was not going to take this lightly, though.
Rather than seeing it as brotherly concern from someone who had reservations about what he was doing, it is suggested that Harry took this very personally.
After all, William had settled down with Kate Middleton, and with that very fact, his comments simply looked as though he was looking down on his brother.
In response, Harry had reportedly stated the following: “Who the hell do you think you are?” Ultimately, these remarks have to be taken with a pinch of salt, given that they are being attributed to members of the Royal family.
The only way we can know whether this had happened is if either party came clean. But with Harry’s memoir set to be reportedly released next year, there is an opportunity to do just that.
