In a mild case of “how did we get here”, Twitter has deemed that Salma Hayek is hotter than Jennifer Lopez.

The poll was posted by user StoneyHustle posted the poll on December 9 asking “Who’s the baddest out of these 2 ladies” with pictures of Hayek and Lopez. Looking at the comments, Salma Hayek got the nod.
Viral Twitter Poll Declares That Salma Hayek Is Hotter Than Jennifer Lopez
One comment that I felt came from CulterRidgeLAZ which read:
“Salma 12 days a week But the ultimate play is The 2’fer Cuzzo But the ultimate play is The 2’fer Cuzzo” (emojis omitted)
While this poll was mainly based on looks—and users have posted plenty of images to back up the choice of Salma—some users even mentioned that Hayek comes off as the more likable of the two despite J-Lo’s popularity.
Part of that could be that Salma’s business isn’t constantly in the streets and—at least for me—there’s more of a mystique about her. It should be noted that this isn’t an official Twitter poll, it just happened to catch on and it’s something that has been a light debate over the years—I’d say often in close company.
With that said, yours truly also gives Salma Hayek the nod. I mean she looks amazing now—as does Jennifer Lopez—but c’mon, did you see her as Carolina in Desperado, Santanico Pandemonium in From Dusk Till Dawn, or Rita in Wild Wild West? All of them are movies from over 20 years ago but she hasn’t changed drastically in all of that time.
The comments were humorous with a couple being party poopers but one that should’ve really rocked the boat comes from user TravelKing711:
“Salma all day! Not even close! But Sofia Vergara is a lot closer!”
That’s another poll for another day but that one seems like a closer one to me. Recently, Salma Hayek co-starred in the MCU film Eternals as Ajak and in House of Gucci as Giuseppina Auriemma. Jennifer Lopez hasn’t been resting as she has two films–Shotgun Wedding and Marry Me–scheduled for a 2022 release.
