Toxic Attraction have quickly gained a lot of influence in the NXT women’s division. They have the NXT Women’s & Tag Team Championships after all. This has also led to them gaining a lot of enemies. These include Io Shirai, Kay Lee Ray, Raquel Gonzalez, and Cora Jade. With only Dakota Kai on their side, Toxic Attraction will enter WarGames tonight, and face the consequences of their actions.
Kay Lee Ray & Dakota Kai Start The Fight
Kay Lee Ray would choose to start the match, chucking her baseball bat into the ring. Dakota Kai would be ready to go with KLR, grabbing a bunch of kendo sticks. Makes sense for the veteran of her team starting, each took a ring before Kai entered No Mans Land and took the bat to the stomach.
Kai would be sent to the steel and stopped herself before running into a back elbow. KLR followed up with a dropkick, before being thrown into the steel by Kai. Kai grabbed some kendo sticks, also setting some up between the two rings – but KLR stopped these plans in their tracks.
KLR would see Kai grab the baseball bat, and nailed a swanton bomb from ring to ring. She’d drop Kai onto the elevated kendo sticks, and KLR got some backup in Cora Jade. Jade has issues with Kai, and she brought her skateboard into the fight – whacking Kai with it. At just 20 years old, she’s perhaps the youngest to ever enter a WarGames match.
Jade nailed a big knee strike before helping KLR up, before they made life hell for the cornered Kai. A double suplex did some damage, but Jade & KLR wasted time laughing at Toxic Attraction and took a big DDT in response. Dolin was in next, throwing a trash can at Jade before hitting some big moves to get her team on track.
Dolin & Kai had three minutes to get some ground before either Shirai & Gonzalez hit the ring, and they did their best. Just hard kicks in the corner, but Jade would catch Dolin with a trashcan assisted dropkick, before Kai was nailed with the Gory Bomb onto the can – with Dolin still inside!
Cora Jade Goes High Risk
In next would be Io Shirai, who looked to bring some steel chairs into the ring. KLR took one, before she went back out for another trash can – choosing to carry it into the cage this year, instead of wear it as she soared from the top. Kai would nail a kick to the face of Shirai, who just took too long to get into this match. Jade would catch Kai with a hurricanrana in no man’s land, only for Dolin to run her down.
Jacy Jayne was next to the ring, putting both tag team champions in. Jayne grabbed a table, which got the biggest reaction of the night. Sadly, they’ve been only really using one ring – and it was getting full with weapons. KLR tried to grab a trash can and was kicked into two chairs. Shirai would block some tag team offense, before just nailing two Bullet Train knee strikes, before involving a trash can lid for for more damage.
Shirai was running wild, showing why she’s miles above everyone in this match – as Jayne was cornered by all opponents in the other ring. Table was set with Jayne on it, and Jade flew from the top of the cage with a swanton bomb. She might have injured her arm on the way down, but Shirai adjusted it right in the ring to keep her in this fight.
Gonzalez was next, who brought even more weapons into the match. She’d even bring a shovel, but Kai locked her out of the ring. Gonzalez sprayed her down with the fire extinguisher and made her way in – and now the clock is ticking. Kai would be put into a trash can and swung around as a weapon, before Gonzalez would check on Jade. Shirai hit a moonsault onto the trash can, perhaps evening the odds.
The Match Beyond War Games Begins!
As Mandy Rose hit the ring, we’d enter the Match Beyond, and now things are officially begun. The goal now should be to protect Jade, who is a sitting duck with the injury. Rose went right after Jade, before Shirai & KLR fought them off. KLR would hand Jade a kendo stick, before everything started.
Gonzalez would throw her weight around, setting up a double powerbomb on the tag champs before Rose came swinging with the kendo stick. A chair assisted dropkick almost took Gonzalez out, but Jade made the save before retreating. She was outnumbered, and had one good arm. But a cornered Jade would swing for the fences before being nailed with a running knee from Rose – but Jade kicked out!
Rose would attack the arm, but Shirai made the save. Gonzalez nailed a powerbomb on Jayne, and Jade went for the pin to get the win out of nowhere!
