Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and tonight looks to be an interesting one after so may stars missed the live event yesterday. We can’t wait to see what’s coming along with some great matches
We’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST start time to kick off WWE Raw Live Results.
Segment 1
RK-Bro came out and Orton wasn’t in the mood to read Riddle‘s Christmas card, so Riddle became the emcee of the show and welcomed us to 2021’s final Raw.
Gable and Otis interrupted them going back and forth, and Riddle got into a discussion about intelligence with Gable before challenging him to a match after the commercial break.
Segment 2
Chad Gable w/Otis vs. Riddle w/Randy Orton
This was a good technical match that Gable controlled throughout until Riddle hit a running knee and Floating Bro out of nowhere.
Segment 3
Randy Orton w/Riddle vs. Otis w/Chad Gable
Otis dominated this one and fought off three RKO’s, but Otis missed a Vader Bomb and Orton hit his fourth attempt for the win.
Segment 4
Kevin Owens cut a fun promo where he took credit for his and Rollins’ plan last week, added he and Rollins are best friends, and that he’ll win at Day 1.
Segment 5
Mixed Tag Team Match – Dana Brooke and Reggie vs. R-Truth and Tamina
This was a fun time waster as we got to see some fun athletics before Reggie flipped Truth over for the pin.
Segment 6
RK-Bro-Noment – Street Profits (Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins) vs. Dominik and Rey Mysterio
This started off with some good reversals between Ford and Dominik early on, then evolved into a solid tag match where Dominik hit a sunset bomb into the barricade on Ford as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
This was a great back and forth with big moves before the Street Profits hit the Pearly Gates on Dominik for the win.
Segment 8
AJ Styles cut a great promo where he promised to make sure Omos pays his dues, then exchanged words with Grayson Waller, who promised to take his place when Omos is done with him.
Apollo Crews came out and mocked Styles for not having Omos around, and Commander Azeez challenged him and Styles accepted.
Segment 9
AJ Styles vs. Apollo Crews w/Commander Azeez
During the commercial break, Crews decided he wanted to face Styles. Guess this is spur of the moment?
The match started off with them going back and forth before Styles sent Crews to the floor, where Crews’ power turned the tide. He press slammed Styles into the apron and then hit a knee as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was a very good match as both shined. Styles reversed a series of finisher attempts by Crews, the last one into a Styles Clash for the win. He then hit Azeez with a Phenomenal Forearm to send a message.
Segment 11
Owens cut another promo in the ring but MVP interrupted him. After exchanging words, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander came out because if they beat him up MVP will reform the Hurt Business.
At least, that’s Cedric and Shelton’s plan.
Segment 12
Kevin Owens vs. Cedric Alexander w/MVP and Shelton Benjamin
This was a decent but quick match as Owens hit a popup powerbomb and stunner on Cedric for the win, then he his a stunner on Benjamin when he turned back after grabbing a microphone.
Segment 13
United States Championship – Damian Priest (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
This started off pretty good and could be the match of the night as Ziggler used his speed and agility to counter Priest’s power. Still Priest got ahold of him a couple of times and threw Ziggler into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 14
A great match ended in a DQ win for Ziggler when he slapped Priest and Priest snapped. Priest hammered away until he was DQ’d, then slammed Ziggler into the barricade and followed it with a Reckoning on the floor.
This wasn’t needed and tainted the match. Maybe one of these days we’ll get a rematch on the level this was shaping up to be?
Segment 15
The wedding vows renewal has some moments, but it was rough at best with the best part being Erick Bischoff was officiating and Edge came out.
After messing with the Miz, Edge asked if they really wanted a white wedding and the Brood’s music played and black liquid dumped down on the Miz and Maryse.
The show was pretty decent overall and better than most form this year, so that gives us hope heading into 2020.
What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Results. We had an awesome time and can’t wait for next week.
