Meat Loaf and Prince Andrew had reportedly gotten into an altercation after accusations that the former was flirting with Prince Andrew’s then wife Sarah Ferguson.

The rock star was known for being outspoken in nature, and given that he recently passed away, it is not surprising to hear that he did ruffle up a few feathers.
And during the course of an alleged charity event held in 1987, the duo came across each other when things escalated very quickly. According to reports, Andrew was not impressed with Meat Loaf flirting with Sarah Ferguson.
And as the latter had allegedly grabbed Andrew, the Royal stated: “You can’t touch me. I’m Royal,” to which then Meat Loaf replied: “I don’t give a s*** who you are.”
Irrespective of what led to the actual incident, the very fact of the matter is that Queen Elizabeth was not best pleased with the singer’s behaviour.
Rather than being left embarrassed about it all, Meat Loaf exhibited a certain sense of pride in being able to stand up for himself. After all, it does take a very brave man to confront members of the Royal family and then come out on top.
In an interview with the Guardian about the incident, Meatloaf remarked: “Fergie wasn’t exactly flirting with me, but she was paying attention to me.
“And I think Andrew got a little – I could be wrong, I’m just reading into this – I think he got a little jealous. Anyway, he tried to push me in the water.”
But as destiny would have it, this merely foreshadowed the unhappiness that Sarah was feeling as the pair would go on to get split anyway.
Although there is no suggestion that anything had happened between Sarah and Meat Loaf, one thing for sure is that she was clearly unhappy if signs indicated that she was flirting.
Meatloaf is certainly no longer a problem for Prince Andrew anymore, as he is no longer here. Prince Andrew’s main priority should be trying to prove his innocence in light of the sexual assault allegations he is currently facing. So there you have it folks.
