Prince Andrew could be offered a lifeline and get his military titles back if his sexual assault allegations are dismissed.
Prince Andrew Could Get His Military Titles Backed If He Is Found Not Guilty Amid His Sexual Assault Allegations
As of now, Andrew faces an uncertain time with his future in the Royal family literally on the line.
Further reports indicate that Andrew could also lose his around the clock security protection that he would be usually entitled to after having his military titles stripped.
And given that a woman was recently arrested after she had accosted Andrew by knocking on the window of his car, there is a suggestion that he could face further attacks if overzealous supporters of those wanting to hold anybody associated with Jeffrey Epstein to account decide to act.
And yet, in and amongst the chaos however, there is a chance that Andrew could redeem himself if the case is ruled in his favor. A source said: “[Andrew could use his] ‘HRH’ styling again and even take back his military titles.”
In reality, this is going to be very difficult to do for the following reasons. First of all, even if Andrew is declared not guilty, it is going to take a significant amount of time before he is out of the public limelight.
After all, even an innocent verdict would not be enough to satisfy those who were looking to hold somebody accountable. Secondly, in any event, claims emerged that Prince Charles and Prince William had an input in influencing Queen Elizabeth II to strip Andrew’s tiles in the first place.
And given that William is having an increasing role in the Royal family, coupled with the fact that Charles is next in line to the throne, the duo may not want to see this happening.
The source added: “[If] It’s a different decision-maker and different people influencing him and therefore it’s slightly less predictable.”
Time will tell how this all plays out, but given what we have seen so far, Andrew is far away from convincing the public that his reputation has been restored. With that in mind, the only thing we can do is wait for the outcome of the case.
