Prince Andrew had apparently gotten into an altercation with a member of the Royal security staff and ended it by swearing at him!
Prince Andrew Swore At Royal Security After Being Mistaken For An Intruder
That is according to former Royal protection member Paul Page. Reports indicate that Prince Andrew was found to be just outside Queen Elizabeth’s bedroom. And given that he is the son of the Queen, it is not surprising that he would be in her company.
And yet, given that Andrew was mistaken for being an intruder, that was something that he did not take to very well. And he made sure but he let the security staff know exactly how he felt about it all.
It is suggested that he had gone into a frenzy before swearing at the officers. That is when Paul decided to step in and check out what was going on in order to prevent things from escalating further.
During an interview with The Sun, Paul said: “I apologized and said, ‘I’m sorry, your Highness, we went to investigate a possible intruder in Her Majesty’s apartments. Andrew replies, ‘This is my house, I go where I want, now f*** off’.”
In defense of the security, however, it is important to bear in mind the following. Prince Andrew had apparently been wearing a tracksuit, which is not something that you would associate with members of the Royal family.
Although that is not out of the realm of possibility, to dress less formally than one would usually do outside of the confinements of their own home, the very fact of the matter is that it did catch the security off-guard.
Irrespective of this, Paul felt that Prince Andrew’s behaviour was out of order especially since he had not experienced any friction with any other members of the Royal family.
He added: “I never had any problems with any other members of the Royal Family in my time at Buckingham Palace. The Queen is a lovely lady, but Prince Andrew had this nasty side to him, he treated staff terribly.”
Once again, Prince Andrew’s image continues to be tarnished in light of the daily reports that are coming which paint him in a negative manner. And this is the last thing that he needs when he is facing sexual assault allegations.
