Prince William and Kate Middleton will reportedly not visit with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their upcoming United States tour.
Royal Expert Claims William and Kate Will Not Visit Harry And Meghan Despite Their US Trip Next Year
That is according to Royal expert Neil Sean. Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to travel to the US in 2022 on the grounds of the Earthshot initiative. This event is designed to honour all those that have taken steps to ensure that the environment is protected.
And given that the pair would be making a historic trip to the US, there was a feeling that a reconciliation could be on the cards. But for Sean, he does not see things panning out that way. In a statement, he said: “Can’t quite see it myself! Can you?”
These comments would hardly be surprising in light of the current context. It is no secret that relations with the Royal family are at an all-time low which is not going to make Prince Harry and Meghan Markle give an olive branch.
After all, if they cannot come together as a couple to visit the Royal family within the UK, then why would this gesture be reciprocated the other way.
Secondly, there is also the issue of logistics involved. Just because Prince William and Kate Middleton will be in the country, it does not mean that Harry and Meghan are at the top of their agenda.
As for Neil, he sees another problem too. He added: “It is really more to do with the fact that they could not of course stay there, only because of security.”
This issue of security is particularly pertinent in light of the fact that Queen Elizabeth had seen an intruder trespass on Windsor Castle on Christmas Day.
Therefore, it is only natural that the Royal family would want to be taking extra precautions in order to prevent something disastrous from happening.
And given that there is no obligation on them to team up with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, it would make sense for them to focus on what they are doing instead. There is always the time for a reconciliation, but as of now, this does look to be a while away.
