After taking down Rey & Dominik Mysterio in the finals of the RK-Bro-nament, The Street Profits have a chance to regain the RAW Tag Team Championships. However, earning the title shot might be the easy part. Randy Orton & Matt Riddle have been dominant as champions, and both teams are coming in with some momentum. However, with Riddle having eyes on a six man tag team match with Imperium on Wednesday – could he be looking past his challengers tonight?
Migos Are In The House For This Title Match
Joined to the ring by Migos, RK-Bro had some big support going into this match. Migos have topped the US Billboard 200, and have been nominated for Grammys in the past. Certainly a big entrance, but isn’t topping Riddle riding a camel to the ring in Saudi Arabia.
Migos would grab some seats at ringside, as Riddle and Dawkins started this match. Riddle took a headlock, but was shoved off before being dropped with a shoulder tackle. Ford would get the blind tag and catch Riddle with a dropkick. Fast tags from Street Profits would keep the pressure coming early, until Randy Orton got the tag.
Profits remained confident as Orton came in, hitting his signature pose before remembering they’re in with the 14 time world champion. Ford would take Orton into the corner and trade chops, before taking a poke to the eye. Riddle was back in, and Orton helped set up the Floating Bro.
RK-Bro Claim The Win, Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss Get Revenge On Drew McIntyre
Dawkins would tag in and catch Riddle with the Silencer, before tagging in Ford for the slingshot senton. A huge PK caught Riddle, before making more quick tags back and forth. Dawkins would fail to take Riddle down, instead taking the Pele Kick. Orton got the tag and hit the snap powerslams, before a double elevated DDT.
Ford would be able to counter the RKO into a roll up, before Dawkins caught an invading Riddle with a suplex. They’d be wiped out on the outside, and back in the ring, Ford shoved Orton into the corner before clearing it with a dive. Back in the ring, he’d fall to a pop-up RKO – ending this one with some flash.
After this match, Corbin & Moss would show they look the loss to Drew McIntyre with grace. They’d ambush him backstage, wrap a steel chair around his neck. Corbin slammed down with a support beam, potentially causing a major injury to McIntyre. However, it’s just as likely he’s back for Friday to meet Corbin in a street fight.
Will this attack take out McIntyre for longer than a few days? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
