Ever since the 1980s when Hulk Hogan crossed over and became a pop culture phenomenon, wrestlers have looked to expand their entertainment opportunities for life outside of the ring.
It’s makes sense and fits into what a wrestlers does as Bret Hart said one a wrestler has to be a good athlete and a good actor.
As big as Hogan was overall, Dwayne Johnson, The Rock, has become the highest paid actor in Hollywood the last few years, and it’s opened the door sider for others to venture out.
With John Cena, Sasha Banks, and Roman Reigns testing the water and Reigns reportedly planning a Hollywood move when his wrestling career is done, it’s brought up the question on if Seth Rollins will join the growing list.

Making a move?
Rollins has proven to be one of the best, if not the best, in the world the last few years and he’s great at any roll the WWE puts him in whether the fans buy in or not, so he’d be a natural,
The question is will he make the move?
He recently did an interview with Ryan Glasspiegel of the New York Post when the topic came up. Special thanks to @wrestling_mpw for the transcript.
“If it happens, it happens. I don’t have a ton of aspirations as far as Hollywood is concerned and being in commercials or movies. If it comes it comes. I’m not going to force that sort of thing. I always love to see people like John Cena, Batista, The Rock and my wife Becky Lynch do things outside of WWE, but I’m very content in doing what I’m doing.”
It sounds like he’s in the perfect situation for his career and we’re glad to hear it. Though there could be an argument that he’s downplaying his desire to do more than wrestling at the moment.
We have no doubt he’ll move into another field when he feels the time is right, and he’ll make a perfect bad guy. Maybe in a Cena of Rock movie.
But we could have a long wait to see if he does make the transition as he’s in his prime and at the top of his game right now and he shows no signs of slowing down.
