Tom Hardy, who played Alfie Solomons in Popular BBC show, Peaky Blinders, has opened up about his addiction to drugs and booze before he rose to fame. Tom, when speaking to Daily mirror, said, “If I had 4 pints of lager and half a bottle of vodka, I could turn this room into an absolute f**ing nightmare in about 3 minutes, I could also destroy everything in my life I have worked so hard for.”
Tom Hardy Shares Details About His Past
Tom explained that he grew up in the suburbs where life was so peaceful and the urge to mess things up was usually there. “I got arrested at 15 for joyriding in a stolen Mercedes. And for good measure there was a gun in the car. I just had to endanger myself-it was a kind of self-harming” Hardy was expelled from school, was arrested and also became addicted to drugs and alcohol even as a teenager.

Like he said, a lot of things didn’t work out for him as he had the habit of jeopardizing things the moment they began to work out, but this changed after he began a drug rehabilitation program in 2003. This was after he collapsed on a street in London following drug usage.
Tom Hardy has played various roles in many movies and shows like Legend, Venom, Inception, Locke and the most recent-Peaky Blinders. He has also won a number of awards based on his brilliant performance in his shows.
Peaky Blinders’ season 6 is said to be released on Sunday, February 27 at 9pm on BBC. In the last season, a lot of fans were shocked to see that Alfie Solomons didn’t die, this leaves a lot of fans wondering if he will still be in the new season.
