Prince Harry is trying to stay out of the spotlight to avoid any more backlash being directed his way.
Royal Expert Claims That Prince Harry Is ‘Laying Low For Now’ For The Sake Of Queen Elizabeth II
That is according to Royal expert Katie Nicholl. Harry has certainly been outspoken ever since he left the Royal family in 2020.
His joint interview on Oprah Winfrey with Meghan Markle was a testament to that. Not only that, but his tell-all memoir which is set to come out this year could be equally as explosive.
But it looks as though Harry is being more careful about what he puts out in the public domain going forward. In an interview with Closer magazine, Katie said: “He’s been critical in the past, but then goes quiet.
“I think since last year he’s paused and reflected. And he’s realised how much last year took a toll on his grandmother, and doesn’t want to cause any more upset, so is laying low for now.”
If those comments are taken to be true, then it is understandable for the following reasons. First of all, Queen Elizabeth II has not exactly been in great health of late.
She was hospitalised just last year, coupled with the fact that she had to deal with the arrest of an armed intruder at Windsor castle on Christmas Day, which did not make things any easier.
Secondly, given that there is uncertainty over whether or not Harry will ever attend the UK again, as disputes emerge over if he will be allowed to fund his own security, there is a feeling that there are bigger issues to be concerned about.
And yet, there is always the possibility that Harry could say something given what his prior track record has shown. Katie added: “Whether Harry has regrets or not, I don’t know.
“But what I do know is that he has a history of lashing out at the establishment before. He’s talked about his “accident of birth” and the “burden of the crown.”
Harry will have to consider carefully how he decides to speak about the Royal family going forward. After all, there is only so much that he can say.
