Bobby Lashley is once again WWE Champion, but it won’t be easy to make it to Wrestlemania with this reign intact. He’s got to take on five challengers as they all enter the Elimination Chamber. Brock Lesnar is the most dangerous of the bunch, as the former champion and Royal Rumble winner intends to bring the WWE Championship to his match with Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Riddle & Austin Theory all have the same goal – and that’s to leave Saudi Arabia with the WWE Championship around their waist.
Bobby Lashley Gets Taken Out Before Entering The Match
Austin Theory & Seth Rollins would start the match, with Lesnar, Lashley, Styles and Riddle taking their place in the pods. Rollins soaked in the reaction of the crowd before easily dodging the lock up from Theory. Theory applied the headlock before nailing a fallaway slam on Rollins, before a backdrop.
A slingshot stomp would crush the chest of Rollins, before a superkick to the face caught Theory. Theory was thrown into the cage, before being thrown through the pod of Lashley with a buckle bomb. Riddle was in next, and he’d nail a kick to the head of Rollins before an exploder suplex. Theory & Rollins took Brotons, before Rollins was nailed by a PK.
Riddle would find himself in the tree of woe as WWE officials checked on Bobby Lashley who was potentially injured when Theory went through the pod. He’d be taken out of the chamber, and Rollins nailed a frog splash for a near fall on Riddle. AJ Styles was in next, and he’d nail a facebuster on Riddle for a two count before the Towerhacker Bomb on Rollins.
Brock Lesnar Will Take The WWE Championship To Wrestlemania
Rollins set up Riddle on the top rope, before Styles and Theory joined the mix. Styles & Rollins took a powerbomb, before Riddle hit the floating bro for a near fall on Theory. Riddle looked for the Randy Orton style draping DDT – as Lashley was supposed to enter the match.
In response to having to wait, Lesnar would kick his pod open. Lashley was medically eliminated from the match, and Lesnar took out Riddle & Rollins with F5’s. Theory & Styles remained alongside Lesnar, and we were ensured a new champion with Lashley out. Styles took a German Suplex, before an F5 took him out of the match.
Theory was now alone in the chamber with Lesnar, who took his gloves off. He’d be chased around the chamber before finally being kicked through a pod. A suplex landed, and Theory responded with a low blow to Lesnar. A DDT would land, but Lesnar was able to kick out at two.
His chance was gone, Lesnar was pissed off, and Theory tried to climb the chamber. He’d almost get out, before Lesnar caught him ontop of a pod. A super F5 sent Theory crashing down, and we had a new WWE Champion.
