At AEW Revolution, the AHFO failed to defeat the team of Sting, Darby Allin & Sammy Guevara. It was Matt Hardy who took the final fall in the ring, after Sting & Sammy Guevara drove Andrade & Isiah Kassidy through tables around the arena. Tonight, the AHFO has called an emergency meeting – and it could be time for some sweeping changes.
Matt Hardy Gets Voted Out Of The AHFO – Jeff Hardy Makes His AEW Debut
Matt Hardy wants to start fresh, while Andrade wants to fire Hardy from the company he started in AEW. Andrade needs Hardy to chill out, while Hardy thinks he needs to stop being an asshole. He’s apologised to Andrade, Butcher, Blade, and Private Party – and wants to make things right.
Andrade would call for a vote. Private Party seemingly backed Hardy up, while Jose & Andrade voted no. Hardy wouldn’t see Isiah & Marq switch to thumbs down, and it was a six on one beatdown. Matt Hardy was all alone, and took a boot to the face from Andrade.
Darby Allin & Sting would hit the ramp, seemingly here to save Matt Hardy. They don’t like the guy, but don’t stand for injustices. Outnumbered or not, they’d rush the ring – with Sting taking Butcher & Blade, while Allin took Private Party.
Suddenly, the music of The Hardy Boyz hit – and out was Jeff Hardy! The ring was cleared, and Blade would take the Twist Of Fate – before Jeff soared with a Swanton Bomb!
Wardlow Is Finally Free From The Grasp Of MJF
Wardlow on Sunday night at AEW Revolution won the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match. He also screwed MJF out of another win over CM Punk, refusing to help hand over the Dynamite Diamond ring.
Wardlow spent too long helping MJF to get disrespected, and it was time to make a change. He worked with MJF for so long, and used him to get his foot in the door with AEW. However, money doesn’t allow you to threaten the family of Wardlow, and when he slapped him? It was done.
He’s still under contract to MJF, but he no longer cares. Wardlow is finally free mentally, but MJF needs to release him from his bullshit contract. If he does, MJF will not have to worry about Wardlow. But if MJF doesn’t make the right call, he might have some powerbombs in his future.
Jurassic Express Remain AEW World Tag Team Champions
There is no rest for the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and after surviving both The Young Bucks & reDRagon on Sunday – it’s time for the next defense from Jurassic Express. The Acclaimed are once against the #1 ranked team in AEW, and tonight have a chance to finally win some gold.
Bowens would start fast, with The Acclaimed trying to isolate Jungle Boy. Luchasaurus was able to get the tag and did some damage, but The Acclaimed would get Jungle Boy back into the match – and started another beatdown in the corner.
Caster would nail a big powerslam for a two count, before Bowens would set up and nail the Regal Cutter for another two count. Jungle Boy would fight back with the comebacker lariat, before tagging in a very fired up Luchasaurus. The Acclaimed were run down with a double lariat, before Caster took a chokeslam and standing moonsault.
Jungle Boy would look for the finish after the tag – only to get crotched on the top rope and getting nailed with The Mic Drop. Luchasaurus was taken out on the floor, and a massive driver in the ring would get a near fall. Jurassic Express would set up their own version of Doomsday Device, and this one was over.
