This Sunday brings the biggest test yet for Jurassic Express as AEW World Tag Team Champions. They already know to prepare for reDRagon after Kyle O’Reilly was left standing after a battle royale, and now they figure out the third team in this match. It’s time for a Casino Battle Royale – and whoever wins, gets their shot to claim tag team gold. Think a Royal Rumble, but tag teams – and both members need to be taken out to have a complete elimination.
Top Flight Are Back In AEW
Kicking off this match was FTR… and the returning Top Flight! Dante Martin has been holding down the ring in AEW while Darius healed up from an ACL injury. A clash of styles, Top Flight would use their speed to cut down FTR. Neither man missed a step since Darius went down.
Next out was The Acclaimed, who claimed that everyone in the ring is less popular than Glen Jacobs tweets. Bowens hit a superkick on Darius, before FTR stomped them into the corners. Dark Order had Five & Ten hit the ring, and they wasted no time hitting the ring. Ten hit a back body drop, and put Dante in position for a missile dropkick from Five.
The Butcher & The Blade were out next, and they’d throw their weight around. Five was thrown out of the ring as Varsity Blonds hit the ring. Everyone was splitting off into brawls as Dax Harwood shoved Brian Pillman Jr. out. Bear Country hit the ring, taking the size advantage away from Butcher.
Santana & Ortiz would get a massive ovation as they hit the ring, fitting as fans hoped to see them win last week. They’d quickly take out Bear Country and Max Caster, but Best Friends took their place in the ring. Griff Garrison was thrown out next, and Dark Order got some more coverage as Evil Uno & Stu Grayson hit the ring. Grayson saved 10 from elimination, before Blade was taken out.
Young Bucks Punch Their Ticket To Revolution
Butcher would soon follow – taking out the only AHFO rep in this match. Dark Order worked as a trio to send him out. Anthony Bowens took Big Rig from FTR, but rolled to the apron for safety. Grayson took Big Rig as Young Bucks made their way to the ring.
Bucks would stare down FTR as they hit the ring, before we’d get back to a chaotic brawl. Matt Jackson bit Chuck Taylor as The Wingmen hit the ring. The Gunn Club hit the ring, but took Big Rig and Superkicks before they were tossed out real quick. Nightmare Family hit the ring and nailed some DDT’s – while Bowens took Ten out of the match.
Ortiz threw Chuck Taylor out – and The Wingmen soon followed. 2point0 were the final team in the match. Brock Anderson was taken out and Lee Johnson was close behind. Anthony Bowens was finally thrown out of the ring. Evil Uno brawled with Trent, only for Danhausen to curse Uno – who was soon eliminated.
Santana & Ortiz took 2point0 out – before FTR worked with 2point0 to take Santana & Ortiz out. Top Flight, Young Bucks & FTR remained – but Dante Martin & Cash Wheeler were sent out. Dax Harwood would follow – as reDRagon ran a distraction. Darius Martin was alone with Young Bucks – but held his own. Nick was taken out, and Darius battled with Matt on the apron. A low block landed on Darius, and a lazy superkick put Young Bucks in the match with Jurassic Express & reDRagon.
