The Inner Circle is no more, and the Jericho Appreciation Society has taken it’s spot in AEW. This came after Chris Jericho turned on Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz. Now with Matt Lee, Jeff Parker, Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager backing him? We’re in for a new era of Chris Jericho – and it starts tonight.
We’re All Lucky To Live In The Chris Jericho Era
Despite hating what Jericho did last week, everyone would sing Judas as this new faction hit the ring. Matt Lee said that if it was up to him? There would be no Judas singalong, but Jericho is a better man than him. That’s just one reason that this man deserves to be praised and idolised.
Everyone is lucky to be alive during Chris Jericho – watching his five star matches, amazing promos, and watching him build companies like AEW. Despite all this, fans still insult him online, they don’t appreciate everything he does. The AEW roster doesn’t appreciate him, and not even The Inner Circle did.
Eddie Kingston was worst of all, as he embarrassed Jericho by making him tap out on PPV. However, now Chris Jericho has men behind him ready to get AEW back on track, as what they need is a Sports Entertainer. Daniel Garcia is a sports entertainer, and their bond goes back to 2019 when Jericho helped him after a massive injury.
2point0 would also get helped by Jericho, after he let them on Talk is Jericho and got them a job in AEW. This is a new era of Jericho, the era of the Sports Entertainer.
MJF Screws Wardlow
Scorpio Sky has been undefeated over the past year, and now is also the reigning TNT Champion. Tonight, both the streak and the gold are on the line, as he takes on Wardlow. Having won the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match and broken off from MJF? Wardlow is looking for a big win to kick off this new stage of his career.
Sky would not back down from Wardlow, but the crowd being 100% behind his opponent had him thinking that maybe this wasn’t a sure thing. Wardlow was driven into the corner and had his forehead bit – which only angered Wardlow.
Sky would slip outside and use American Top Team as a distraction before hitting the dropkick through the ropes. The veteran edge of Sky is the real advantage here tonight, but striking someone like Wardlow wasn’t winning him any favours. Going after the eyes would stagger Wardlow, but trash talk would once again hype of Wardlow. Sky would find himself in the powerbomb position, before instead being planted with a spinebuster.
The first powerbomb landed, and the second would follow. A third came, but Dan Lambert ran the distraction – allowing Sky to slip to the floor. Fourth would be potentially an apron bomb, but Shawn Spears hit the ramp.
Wardlow could only focus on his old factionmate, but Spears just distracted the referee as MJF shoved him into the steel ring post. Back in the ring, Wardlow was rolled up – and Sky remains TNT Champion.
What will Wardlow do when he gets his hands on MJF? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
