Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may live out the rest of their lives far away from royal duties after many Brits collectively voted against their plans to take up part-time roles in the royal family.
Brits Says “No” TO Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Possible Return To Their Royal Duties
A few days ago, respected Royal Author, Tom Quinn claimed in a recent podcast that a royal source told him that the Sussex Royals are seeking to return to the UK as part-time royals after Prince Charles becomes King.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Rejected As Part-Time Royals
He told listeners that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle “believe that when the elder royals die – in other words, [Queen] Elizabeth [II] – they may well be able when Charles is King, be able to come back and be the part-time royals that they really wanted to be.
Nevertheless, Tom Quinn’s claims have not gone down well with several Brits based on the results of a recent online poll conducted for more than 6 hours on Wednesday. The poll titled “Do you think Prince Harry and Meghan Markle deserve the right to change their minds and resume some royal duties? ” returned a total of more than ten thousand votes with up to 97% of voters casting a “no”.
Moreover, the result of the poll is overwhelming evidence of the deep hatred that most Brits now have for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since they resigned from their royal duties and moved to the United States in early 2020.
Some Brits even view the controversial couple as a greedy pair that only cares about money, a claim partly justified by the couple’s recent issues with Spotify. Despite the intense hate they receive at home, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not halted their charity activities.
Rather, they have intensified their generous contributions through the Archewell Foundation, recently earning them the plaudits of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), a leading US civil rights group.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to visit the United Kingdom in the company of their two children before June this year for the platinum jubilee anniversary celebration of the Queen after they reportedly received a special invitation from Her Majesty.
