Prince Harry is not going to make a physical appearance at the Platinum Jubilee anniversary celebration of Queen Elizabeth as he dreads facing his family. According to Tom Bower, a biographer and investigative journalist, the 37-year old royal will skip the celebration entirely because of the growing concerns in the royal family about his soon-to-be-released memoir.
He said “I think Harry won’t come back because he knows he cannot face his family, and be pleasant with them, knowing what he’s written about them in that book”.

Bower further claimed that Prince Harry is only using his security payment issues with Home Office as a reason to miss the celebrations as he won’t be welcomed by most people after his memoir is published. “That book will have a lot of casualties and cause a lot of hurts.
It will deliver, as Harry knows it has to, to justify the money he’s been paid to do it. How can Harry come back and pretend it’s all fine? The worst of what he will say is yet to come,” the investigative journalist added.
Nevertheless, few people would be surprised if Harry eventually skips the celebration because the Duke of Sussex has persistently resisted numerous calls to return home since ditching the royal family for life in the US. Prince Harry famously resigned from royal duties together with his wife Meghan Markle and moved to the US in early 2020.
He has only returned to the UK twice since then on a solo trip without his wife or children. Although he is expected to make an appearance at the celebration of his grandmother after he reportedly received an invitation from the Queen herself, many people are worried that the release of his suspected provocative memoir will prevent him from showing up.
Despite not performing any royal duty since their resignation, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle are reportedly keen on settling for the role of part-time royals once Prince Charles becomes King.
