Royal expert, Matt de Groot has claimed that Prince Harry was badly advised to use his security issues with UK Home Office as an excuse to skip the commemoration service of his grandfather Prince Philip on March 29 at the Westminster Abbey. Groot made this claim after a spokesman for Prince Harry disclosed that the Duke of Sussex will not be at the memorial service of Prince Philip.
Matt de Groot Calls Prince Harry A “Bloke”
Speaking in a recent television chat, the royal expert said “You look at a bloke who is out of touch with reality, it’s that bloke right there. They spend one half of their life talking about being determined to be private and being determined to stay away from the public eye.
“Prince Harry Is Out Of Touch With Reality Over Security Demands” Says Royal Expert, Matt de Groot
They spend the other half of their life selling their story to the highest bidder then he wants to step away from the Royal Family, then wants the royal protection, then he doesn’t even realised you can go the UK and hire your own security. If nothing else just buy your own security.” Mr. Groot added that Harry is making of series of blunders because ‘he’s being given bad advice and being petty’.
Despite returning to the UK on two separate occasions since he and his wife relocated to the US, many people did not expect the Duke of Sussex to skip the memorial service of his paternal grandfather, Prince Philip.
The Duke maintained that his decision to skip the event was due to the UK Home Office’s decision to deny him police protection on his return to the UK even though he offered to fund it himself.
With the ongoing legal tussle with the Home Office yet to be concluded, many royal fans fear that Prince Harry might also skip the platinum celebrations despite his spokesman reiterating that ‘Harry hopes to visit the grandmother the Queen soon’. For now, many royal fans await the release of his memoir which is expected to expose several activities within the royal family.
