The push to remove Joe Rogan from Spotify is showing no signs of slowing down. Alex Paterson, a self-described paid “Joe Rogan watchdog” has compiled clips of the UFC commentator and podcast host making “hateful” comments. In a series of videos posted to Twitter, Paterson said that although Rogan claims he no longer uses the “N-word”, he “hasn’t changed”.
“I’m seeing a lot of Joe Rogan’s worst comments from the 2010s circulating. I get paid to listen to his podcast & want to remind people that he hasn’t changed.
New York Post’s Joe Rogan “Watchdog” Compiles His Most “Hateful” Comments
Here are some of the most hateful things Joe has said in the past year and a half.” The series of clips includes Rogan making comments on Angelina Jolie, Asian accents, and using the word “retarded”.
“In January, Rogan denigrated Angelina Jolie for developing Bell’s palsy saying, “There’s a rule. Crazy pussy is the best pussy. … She’s clearly crazy.”
He added, “That’s the problem with crazy is crazy comes with all sorts of neurotic shit. October 2020, Rogan and his guests repeatedly used an anti-trans slur and then he lamented, “You can’t even say that anymore.”
October 2021, Rogan and his guest made fun of people with “Asian accents” then said people who think that is offensive are “retarded.” Rogan added, “But I’m on Spotify, you can get away with it.”
August 2021, Rogan claimed some trans people aren’t actually trans — “they are just latching on to this need to get attention, or to be special, … and to be a victim.” He then agreed with his guest’s use of an anti-trans slur, saying “QAnon is just like conservative t—–s”
July and November 2021, Rogan imitated people who speak Mandarin and questioned, “Is that racist to do that, to imitate a sound?”
July 2021, Rogan claimed that journalist Lauren Sanchez (Jeff Bezo’s gf) is an “alpha predator female” and agreed with his guest’s claim that her “puss puss is probably incredible because girls like that, you got to respect they know that that’s their job.
On Joe Rogan’s Spotify podcast — Jordan Peterson claims Michael Eric Dyson is “not Black” Rogan replies: “Unless you are talking to someone who is like 100% African from the darkest place where they are not wearing any clothes all day … the term Black is weird.”
Spotify has removed over 100 episodes of The Joe Rogan experience, and Rogan himself has apologized for the offensive comments and remarks he made in the past. It’s unlikely that Spotify will remove the podcast considering they paid $100 million to acquire it for their platform.
