Legado Del Fantasma is once again making moves in NXT 2.0 – and Elektra Lopez is ready to prove she’s a force in the women’s division. Last week, she felt slighted by Fallon Henley – and tonight will look to put her in her place. Raul Mendoza & Joaquin Wilde are in her corner, while Henley has her friends Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs to back her up.
Elektra Lopez Gets Big Win Over Fallon Henley
Henley would be quickly dropped down onto her face, before being able to throw some forearm strikes and a dropkick. Lopez would drop Henley throat first on the top rope – before stomping a mudhole in her. Henley tried for the Cazadora – but was again slammed off the mat.
Surfboard stretch would be applied, before being kicked and again meeting the ropes. On the outside, a brawl broke out between Wilde, Mendoza, Briggs & Jensen. In the ring, Henley would stay focused and hit a running uppercut and bulldog for a two count.
Lopez would shoot back with the Blue Thunder Bomb, and this one was over just like that. A big win for Lopez, who seems overdue for a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
Bron Breakker Beats A Former NXT Champion
At NXT 2.0: Stand & Deliver, Bron Breakker has a chance to reclaim his NXT Championship from Dolph Ziggler. However, before he gets there – he’s got a date with another former NXT Champion in Bobby Roode. With 24 years of experience, Roode has forgotten more about professional wrestling than Breakker has learned. Tonight he will pull out every trick in the book tonight to try and hand Breakker a loss.
Very quickly, Roode would be able to stomp Breakker into the corner. Breakker would fire back by catching Roode out of the sky with a powerslam, before Brekker would be caught with a vertical suplex. Roode would nail a second, before being sent into the corner. Breakker looked for a spear, before Roode dodged and rammed the steel post.
A neckbreaker in the ring would put Breakker down, before Roode went to the top rope. Flying lariat would follow – getting a two count. Breakker would take a blockbuster from Roode, but was able to kick out. Roode hit a Scott Steiner style elbow drop, before going for some pushups.
Breakker would set Roode up on the top rope, nailing a picture perfect frankensteiner. He’d kick Roode off the ropes before a belly to belly suplex – only for Roode to come back with a spinebuster. Glorious DDT would be attempted, before Roode was tossed off and nailed with the spear.
Roode kicked out at two, before nailing the Glorious DDT – but Breakker had enough to get the kick out. Blockbuster would get countered into a powerslam, and Roode was down for the three count.
