‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for the week to close out in style with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
We’re in for a little of everything and Genoa City feels like it’s on the verge of blowing apart from anticipation, so let’s get to the breakdown.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 29: Nothing will touch her
We’re happy Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) decided to tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Geno City’s latest guest.

We were sure she’d want to handle things on her own, but this way they’ll have a untied front for when/if Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) tries her mischief.
Victor will be his usual protective self and swear to Nikki that he won’t let Diane harm her in any way, but we’re pretty sure if she wants, Diane will get through even Victor’s inept security.
After all, how can they constantly let uninvited and high profile people enter their place in Tuscany and the company so easily if they weren’t inept?
This will get pretty interesting before too long, and we won’t be surprised if Victor pays a visit to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and blame him for bringing Diane back.
It’s such a Victor thing to so.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, April 29: Family reunion
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers aren’t surprised that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will decide to meet with Diane as he’s a lot more balanced and less vengeful than his father was at his age.
But while Diane will take this as a win, it’ll be anything but pleasant as Kyle will have some pointed questions for her.
As a father, he can’t understand abandoning his son, and we expect this will be the deal breaker when she tries to explain it to him.
In the end, we think he’ll turn his back on her and sever any chance at reconnecting. At least, for the time being as he’ll want to fully process everything.
If he does this, Diane could lose what composure she had and revert back to her old self. Or she could force it down and remain the sorry mom looking to reconnect for whatever reason is lurking in her mind.
We doubt her returning is anything as simple as trying to get back into Kyle’s life, and when that shoe drops Genoa City is going to have a hard time dealing with the fallout.
