Right now, it’s becoming impossible to deny that AEW is on it’s way to having one of the best rosters of all time. Between proven veterans like Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson, to rising stars like Wheeler Yuta and Red Velvet? The AEW roster is incredible. Despite this, some fans will air concerns about the size of the roster, but those within the company seem to disagree – as Dax Harwood calls those fans fools.
Tony Khan Is Building “The Greatest Roster In The World”
While speaking with Dallas Morning News ahead of ROH Supercard of Honour, FTR member Dax Harwood would speak on how Tony Khan is building the greatest roster in the world. Harwood had the following to say.
“I think that Tony Khan is trying to assemble the greatest roster in the world, one of the greatest rosters he possibly can because he wants to put on the greatest product that he can. And anyone who complains about that, I’ll say they are a fool. Because he’s doing this – he spent a shit-ton of money to bring back CM Punk. You think he did that for himself? Or do you think he did that for the enjoyment of the fans and he wanted the fans to be happy? I think it’s the latter part.”
The latest additions to the AEW roster include Toni Storm, Keith Lee, and Swerve Strickland. There are hopes of Cesaro, Athena, and Johnny Gargano making their way to the roster very soon.
FTR Hope To See Another Legend Join AEW
Currently, FTR are hoping to see another legend join the AEW roster. They’ve recently fired Tully Blanchard as their manager – and have turned face in the process. Now, they hope to bring in Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart as their new manager. Hart has shown up in AEW in the past, being the man to unveil the AEW World Heavyweight Championship at Double or Nothing 2019.
FTR currently hold both the AAA & ROH World Tag Team Championships, and could be on their way to their second reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions. Those belts are currently held by Jurassic Express, who will defend against reDRagon this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.
