Her appearance arrives on the back end of her shocking return to the UK with Prince Harry in order to meet Queen Elizabeth II, which did come out of the blue.
And after having seen the monarch, her attention was firmly turned towards supporting her husband. As part of that process, Meghan made a highly-publicized appearance as shown in the following picture.
In the picture here, we can see that Meghan has arrived at a reception held for the games. She is dressed in an all-white suit that is certainly not something that she is used to wearing. This was accompanied by white matching shoes and a hand bag.
If this outfit does tickle your fancy, then it is not going to come very cheap. Both the blazer and the bag cost over $3,000, while the trousers are half of that. Naturally, the public had something to say about Meghan’s clothing.
And by the looks of it, the reaction was mixed. A certain subset of people were happy to see that Meghan was looking well. Meanwhile, others were of the view that her clothing was highly inappropriate.
This was on the grounds that she was here to lend her support for military personnel that had been injured rather than a fashion show. One person wrote: “Just awful.”
In Meghan’s defence, this is the first time that she has returned to Europe ever since she exited the Royal family in 2020. Therefore, it was entirely understandable if she wanted to look her best.
But whether that leads to getting more fans, or criticism in the process is a part and parcel of being involved in a highly-anticipated event.
