It’s no secret that Joe Rogan, the controversial podcaster, is a buddy of Elon Musk, the Tesla company owner. Since his podcasts reign, he had invited Elon Musk numerous times to be a guest on the podcast. There they spoke about many different topics and occasionally smoked some weed together. Fun times.
In the past Joe Rogan has many times blamed the social media ‘heads’ for ‘shadow banning’ and censorship. All this ends here. Having Elon Musk behind the wheel is something that puts hope out there. It’s making Joe happy. And not only Joe, but everyone who knows to use his brain and think – has had a little flickering of joy deep inside him. The fact that censorship comes to an end on one of the greatest social media platforms is not everyday news.
Joe Rogan Screams Of Joy When He Finds Out Elon Musk Bought Twitter
In the thrill of the moment when Joe Rogan found out about this, he proclaimed Musk as a star and a superhero.“Oh shit, oh shit, Elon Musk just bought Twitter” – he chanted – “’Now that it’s announced, that’s fucking amazing. Look it’ll change everything, and I wonder how quickly it is before Donald Trump’s back.’
A main goal of Elon’s Twitter campaign is to bring back Donald Trump on the platform. He even publicly declared this as very important to him.
However, from Trump’s office, he does not have the wanted reaction. Several days ago, Donald’s representative announced that the return of the former president to Twitter is not so likely to happen.
On the podcast, Joe Rogan expressed his wish for Trump to think once again and reconsider coming back on Twitter. “Donald, please reconsider this. We all want you back and miss your posts” – the podcaster said.
Musk had spoken openly regarding censorship on social media and he is openly against it. Now that he own Twitter he knows what we expect from him. He recently said that he wants to end censorship on the Twitter platform. Also he said that he looked down upon the ones that wanted to suppress free speech.
‘What’s interesting about this is, we found out some things about Twitter and one of the things they do is shadowban people. They make it so your content – whatever you put out – has less impact, it has less engagement. They limit your ability to express yourself.’ – Joe Rogan said.
Now even though they do not limit your ability to express yourself per se, as the podcaster says, they limit your audience and they limit who will see your posts. If something is ‘fishy’ and pops out as different from the generally accepted opinion, chances were that you’d be suppressed.
In Joe Rogan’s eyes, this is a very important step on the way to a complete democracy in the world. According to him, all social media platforms and news broadcasters should be put into the hands of people like Elon Musk. Do you agree with this? Let us know in the comments.
