Kate Middleton Urged To Move Closer To Look After Queen Elizabeth II Following Her Health Concerns-‘Catherine Would Benefit From Her Knowledge’
The Queen has faced serious challenges concerning her welfare of late. Just this year, she had tested positive for Covid albeit ‘mild’ symptoms. But any sign of the monarch plowing on as normal suffered another setback.
The Queen has had to pull out of her Easter obligations, with Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla replacing her at the Royal Maundy Day service. This was an initiative designed to honour those that had given back to the community.
And naturally, this has paved the way for somebody to step up. And none more so than Kate herself. She has had a ground-breaking year having been on two Royal tours in the process.
One of those included a trip to Denmark, which was her first solo tour overseas for five years. Not only that, but she accompanied her husband Prince William on their recent Royal Caribbean tour.
Although it is fair to say that the latter was a PR disaster, it nevertheless marked a significant step in Kate taking on a more prominent role in the Royal family.
And this was the sentiment that was expressed in a recent poll conducted by the Express. Out of the 1,554 people who participated, 92 percent of the people (1,431) were adamant that Kate should move closer to look after the Queen.
One user was quoted as saying: “Yes I definitely think that William, Kate and family need to be very near the Queen,” while another stated: “Why not… William as well as Catherine would benefit from her knowledge.”
With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle no longer in the Royal family, the onus has fallen on Kate. This is her chance to step up and stake a claim as one of the leading Royal members.
In the process of doing so, it surely tarnishes Harry and Meghan’s reputation, who will be viewed as abandoning the Queen in her time of need. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
