That is according to columnist Richard Mineards. This runs contrary to the claims that Harry had made in his recent interview on the ‘Today Show.’
In his statement, he revealed how he was happy by the community of Santa Barbara after they had welcomed them with ‘open arms.’
But given that they are rarely seen in public, coupled with the fact that the area is known for having a strong policy against the paparazzi, Harry’s words have been called into question.
In a statement to the Times, Richard said: “Harry and Meghan haven’t become part of the community, and I think a lot of people are bristling about that really.
“It’s such a lovely place to go out and they’ve been a no-show. There is this big question of, ‘Where are they?’” But this could all be about to change, if the following comments are anything to go by.
Reports indicate that Harry has joined the Polo and Racquet Clubs within Santa Barba. Although these would be far from what ordinary people would get involved in, it is at the heart of the community with the well-off members of Santa Barbara.
Nevertheless, not everything has been smooth sailing. Rumours began to emerge that the couple were struggling to settle in and had to abandon their plans at trying to get accustomed to some American classics: one being In-N-Out.
It has been claimed that the couple had to stop their plans at eating there, as a result of security concerns. The fans on social media, naturally, had a lot to say.
People were of the view that Harry had alienated himself from the community, as a result of his post-royal shenanigans. One person wrote: “Great community – that doesn’t want them!”
