Prince Harry has been called out for being calculating in the aftermath of his comments in which he vowed to protect Queen Elizabeth II.

That is according to Royal expert Richard Palmer. Harry’s remarks arrived on the back end of a visit with his wife Meghan Markle in order to see the monarch in the UK.
While the visit was kept largely under wraps from the clutches of the media, Harry did not hold back on his passion for making sure that his grandmother was in a good place.
And yet, his comments were called out for the following reasons. First of all, the implication was that the people who are already amongst the Queen are failing to do the job of making sure that she is fine.
Secondly, Harry’s comments were accused of being spontaneous rather than him being actually asked to address this particular topic.
In an interview, Richard said: “My understanding is that the feeling inside the royal household was that [this] was a calculated dig.
“He hadn’t really been asked about it, he just sort of dropped it into the conversation as far as I can remember.” Nevertheless, those comments must be taken with a pinch of salt.
After all, it has been a significant amount of time since Harry had seen the monarch which would understandably make him feel overprotective.
In addition, it is no secret that the Queen has had her share of health scares of late. Not only that, but Harry’s comments could have been part of a wider attempt to get a reconciliation with the Royal family.
And yet, for Richard, Harry’s intentions were more maligned. He added: “I think there’s a lot of bitterness from Harry and Meghan still about the way that their exit was handled.”
Only Harry knows the real intention behind his comments, and without any evidence to the contrary, we must give him the benefit of the doubt. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
