Prince Harry is reportedly shattered after he skipped the commemoration service of Prince Philip, who died last year. Prince Harry Is Really Down After Skipping Prince Philip’s Memorial Service, Claims Expert
The royal expert said, “I believe it’s largely to do with the security officials, and that Harry is actually really down about not being able to attend this remarkable day in celebration of his grandfather, for whom he has tremendous love.”
Prince Harry had blamed his absence at the event on his current security issues with the UK Home Office. In a statement released by his spokesman, the estranged Prince had revealed that he won’t come home till the security issue is resolved.
Part of the statement read, “While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the Royal family has not. Nor has the threat to him and his family. In absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return home.”
Harry is currently embroiled in a lawsuit against the Home Office in a bid to bypass the stand of the UK’s security agency. The Home Office has maintained that the Duke cannot fund personal police protection as he is no longer an active royal. Harry and his wife Meghan and their two children have not set foot together in the UK since 2020. During that time, Prince Harry has completed only returned to the UK on two solo trips.
