The couple, for their part, are already parents from their previous relationships. Travis has children with Shanna, while Kourtney co-parents with her ex Scott Disick.
And yet, the prospect of having their own children is always something that has appealed to the duo. So much so that they have been going out of their way in order to conduct IVF to bring this about.
And Shanna has welcomed the idea should they be successful. In an interview with Us Weekly, Shanna said: “I think if that’s a desire between the two of them then that’s fantastic.
“I don’t have any issues with that. Their personal relationship is really nothing I get involved in.” While it is good that Shanna has given them the backing, things are not going to be easy for Kourtney for the following reasons.
First of all, she has spoken extensively over the difficulties she has faced in trying to conceive via IVF. And in the process of doing so she has cast doubt over whether this is the correct way for her to proceed going forward.
In some comments, she stated: “It hasn’t been the most amazing experience.” Secondly, Kourtney also has other issues to deal with.
There is a clear indication that she wants to get married to Travis, after having gone through with a ceremony in Vegas only for that not to be legally binding due to the absence of a marriage license.
Therefore, the couple will have to decide which takes priority: having a baby or getting married first. In any event, Shanna’s support is welcome.
And they have all come a long way ever since Shanna first accused Kourtney of spoiling her daughter Alabama to the point where the latter did not have a good relationship with her mother.
