On Sunday, 19th February 2023, the 42-year-old posted an image of two folders, indicating her determination to pursue her ambitions within the legal field.
It was placed on a table alongside some coffee as the files read: ‘CON LAW 1, Community Property.’ Kim began her foray into the legal field when she attempted to get clemency for Alice Johnson.
She eventually arranged a meeting with Donald Trump to advocate for Johnson’s pardon. As a result, the former president pardoned Johnson for a crime of non-violent drug trafficking.
Subsequent to that, Kardashian has worked hard to help others, such as Kevin Cooper and Julius Jones. This should not come as a surprise as Kim has spoken glowingly about her late father, Robert Kardashian.
He was known for being a renowned attorney, as he managed to represent even O.J. Simpson. With that being said, it was only last year that Kim discovered she had been successful in her bar law examination.
She was in her car with her publicist, Tracy Romulus, when she accessed an online account to see the outcomes of her third try at the test.
In an episode of ‘The Kardashians’ at the time, she remarked: “Everyone told me this was the impossible way and there was no way I would ever pass this test, and I did.”
Despite that being the case, the social media response was damning. Large numbers of people were of the view that Kim’s reality TV persona would damage her legal aspirations.
One person wrote: “A duck face and peace sign are unprofessional. If you want to become a lawyer, you need to act like one. Sorry, but no, no one will take you seriously.”
