Julia and Brandon Gibbs met via a video call and fell in love. It is clear that the couple are so in love with each other as they have been able to stick together despite the pressure from Brandon’s side of the family. Fans have noticed that although Brandon is lucky to have amazing and caring parents, his mother is a little overbearing.

Julia is Brandon’s first serious relationship and mainly because she’s from a foreign county, Betty has proven to be overprotective of her son. Betty had concerns that Julia was with her son for Green card and so she had to make sure the two were kept apart, literally.
When Julia arrived at the Farm where Brandon stays with his parents, his mother disclosed that the couple wouldn’t be staying together. “We thought it would be a really good idea if you have your own room,” she said to the couple.
Apart from her mother-in-law’s intrusiveness, another thing Julia disliked about being on the farm was helping out with farm duties. The couple luckily found a place in Richmond where they stay together and are allowed their privacy. However, the former go go Dancer stated that she and her husband are living separately and that she was back on the Farm.
Julia posted a picture of herself at the farm on her Instagram page which she captioned “Brandon and I stay separately now. “Brandon’s parents were away on vacation and I offered to help out on the farm while they on vacation.” This proves that Julia and her husband have not returned to the farm, contrary to speculations but they visit to help out from time to time.
Julia’s gesture also points to the fact that she was now in good terms with her husband’s parents and fans find that commendable judging from their messages in the comments section.
