‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into a new week and have some fun spoilery goodies to share.
It looks like we’ll be waiting for “tomorrow” and the hearing for a couple more episodes at least as they continue building for the big showdown.
With things getting closer to imploding for some, let’s dive into the spoilers!
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, May 23: Sonny’s crossing a line
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been accused of choosing the wrong side since returning from Nixon Falls.
And now that’s he’s all in on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), he’s going to hear doubts from one of the few that have actually listened to him without judgement.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is going to be wary of Sonny deciding to take Nina’s side in the custody hearing and for good reason.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may have pushed Sonny so far away Sonny’s willing to strike out to hurt him, but Dante will see the danger and the irreparable harm it’ll do their relationship.
If anyone can convince Sonny it’s a bad idea, it’s Dante. He’s been neutral through this whole war between Carly’s side of the family and Sonny, and Sonny would be wise to listen to him.
It may help that Nina told him basically the same thing.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Monday, May 23: Elizabeth gets closer
It’s still unclear to what’s ailing Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), but she’s going to start closing in on what’s happening.
In fairness to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), there’s every chance Liz’s medication is putting her into these episodes when she goes to sleep, but it feels like there’s something more.
A good haunting story isn’t out of the realm of possibility since Sonny was visited several times, and it’d be pretty fun to see Finn and the rest eating some crow.
After all, Finn and Liz have shown an inability to find a pulse, so the writers are willing and able to warp GH’s reality as they see fit, and that makes the show even more entertaining.
Of course, we can’t discount the emotion and mental possibilities as Liz could have a legitimate case of multiple personalities, but would it really only come out when she’s sleeping?
Whatever the conclusion to this mystery, ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers are enjoying it and looking forward to what the final revelation is.
