All Elite Wrestling star Jake Atlas was arrested in Florida for domestic battery on May 23, 2022. The incident occurred after Atlas had been out drinking and called his partner to pick him up, according to a police report which was obtained by Fightful. However, that’s not the reason why.
AEW Star Jake Atlas ARRESTED for Domestic Battery After Partner Showed A Third-Party More Attention in Intended THREESOME
The move for that night was for the two to swing by a woman’s spot for a threesome. However, things weren’t to Atlas’ liking. According to the report, his partner “showed the female half more attention than Atlas, which upset Atlas. This started a huge verbal argument between him and Atlas.”
Things would escalate once Jake Atlas began attacking his partner. A bystander to the attack tried to break things up but that wasn’t flying for the former NXT star. In the end, he managed to scratch the victim and tear his tank top.
The bystander managed to put Jake Atlas in a car to keep him from further attacking his partner. Atlas was allowed to get out and retrieve his dog but continued to argue with the victim. The victim ended up calling the police on Atlas who was eventually arrested after he refused to explain his side of the story.
Later that day, Atlas was released from jail and signed a no-contact order which prohibits him from contacting the victim. He must also keep 500 feet away from him at all times. Jake Atlas is slated to appear in court for arraignment on the morning of June 28, 2022. The 27-year-old had been nursing a torn ACL following his surgery in February.
