Currently, there is some discussion about how Britney Spears is bouncing back after the news that the baby she was having with Sam Asghari miscarried. While the video of her dancing can be taken as grieving in her own way, it seems that some observers have drawn the line at her posting a throwback from her time at the beach in Mexico.
Britney Spears Topless Beach Throwback Video Sparks Discussions of Grieving and Grabbing for Attention
In an Instagram video from May 16, 2022, Spears is shown prancing and posing on the beach, running around topless with her pooch, and just enjoying the sun. The comments are most supportive of Britney moving on after a miscarriage but there are some grumblers in there.
One commenter posted “but whyyyyy” which rallied Britney’s fan to pretty much dogpile that commenter into oblivion in the replies. Another commenter—pizzaviolator—seemed more concerned about her recent actions and said:
“I pray that she is surrounded by people who truly have her best interest , she needs an advocate , not a gold digging fame hungry bf and an enabling bunch of yes man/assistants around her . God bless Britney.”
The comments this time leaned more supportive as there is a belief that Sam Asghari is using Spears. As one user who replied to the comment stated:
“Calling it 100% for what it is. He was a desperate Hollywood nobody looking for his cash cow to launch him into fame. He found the most vulnerable woman in Hollywood to take him there.”
Ultimately, it’s not the best look but people deal with grief in different ways and some people speed-run through life events and don’t have time to process things at the moment. I mean, she went through announcing that she was pregnant, teasing a tell-all book and a wedding date, getting stopped for speeding, and announcing her miscarriage all in around a month’s time.
If her life was a TV drama or a reality show, this would be jumping the shark hard. However, it’s not. It’s her trying to deal with things when she was never really put in a position where she could learn how to over the years since everything was controlled for her.
Once she gained her freedom from the conservatorship, the expected happened and she began speed-running life over a five or six-month period. Fans and observers are reasonably concerned. Most get why she’s doing so but there’s real concern by many. Likewise, others have taken this as an opportunity to bash her as clawing for attention and trying to remain relevant.
