‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into the final day of the wedding with some fun spoilery goodies.
While the ceremony was drawn out longer than it needed, it’s what the show does best as they mine for perfect moments in a shopping list.
In this case, they created one with a great balance between the love and affection Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) feel for each other.
The multiple nods to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) were also a nice touch following his death, and in many ways he went out a hero.
With all of that finished, we’re set for some party time to let loose and relax, but there’s going to be a catch to that.

With the party kicking into high gear, things are going to get interesting as we’ve been teased a few possible new relationships in the early stages; clumsy pick up lines and jokes included.
It’s going to be fun to see everyone showing some life and enjoying themselves instead od sitting around and brooding constantly.
This is something the show needs more of as there’s little to now pleasant or funny moments.
But nothing lasts forever, and this is where ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have hopes things are going to get spicey pretty quick.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Werdnesday, May 18: Can’t stand nice things
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has a knack for upsetting people no matter where she goes, and this won’t be any different as Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will near his wits end on getting her to leave.
In fact, their discussion could become poignant enough for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to intercede and try to help.
While she’ll mean well, we doubt Phyllis will be as subtle as she’d like and their confrontation will draw some unwanted attention.
Diane will take the blame for it since she wasn’t invited and shouldn’t be there, and thing will escalate as she’ll try to leave quietly while also apologizing to Kyle.
We could be wrong and it’ll play out another way, but the storytelling is so vanilla we’ll be surprised if Diane does anything that’ll rock the party, so an accidental outing seems more likely.
