‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to dive into some spoilery goodies to keep things rolling.
This episode is going to be focused on budding and rebudding relationships, and there’s plenty of potential for things to unfold now that we know Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) wants Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) back.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 19: Jack’s taken off guard
Everyone knew this was coming, and many of us wanted something different. In the end, we’re back to rehashing old relationships and plotlines as Jack and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get together again.
There’s every chance Jack will reject her, but we doubt that’ll happen. They’ve meant too much to each other recently for Jack to refuse her, though he may put up a brief fight.
We’re glad Jack’s finally in a love interest storyline as no one on the show deserves it more, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers agree with the fans that wanted to see someone new join the show for this.
We love Phyllis and she and Jack are great together, and while Diane’s intent to have Jack back is now known, this storyline is going to struggle to make an impact.
It’s something we’ve all seen from these same players before, and while it will be interesting at times, it feels like a far cry from what could’ve been with Diane.
With any luck, we’ll be wrong and this storyline will rock. We just have to wait and see how it plays out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, May 19: Noah turns it up to 11
While the wedding and celebration ceremony was fun, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) is one of the big winners as he’s rebounded into a prowling hound at his sister’s wedding.
Thanks to his bad jokes, he struck out big time with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) early on but rebounded nicely before she left.
And now he’s got his sight set on Crystal Porter (Morgan Obenreder) and she seems more than wiling.
In many ways, they are the perfect couple and we’re curious to see if they can become a power couple in Genoa City and then a super couple for the show.
But first, there will be a few hurdles to overcome, one of which is we’re convinced Noah’s former girlfriend in London will show up at some point.
She could just be a plot device, but it feels like a golden opportunity the show will miss if they don’t bring her in at some point.
