Conor McGregor is in the news constantly. He will come back and fight in featherweight, he will fight in lightweight, he will arrange a new boxing match. It is always unpredictable with the Notorious.
There is an ongoing beef between the YouTuber Jake Paul and Conor Mc Gregor for some time now. Both of them smelled money and are now onto some ‘callouts’ through social media.
JackAss In Pink Jimmy Saville Glasses – Conor McGregor Teases The Rising Jack Paul
Conor McGregor has the biggest fan audience in the UFC history, and Jake Paul is one of the most trending people in the world at the moment. They both combined can reach a pay-per-view record most certainly.
As any other call out, this started with one of them, in this case Jake Paul, writing something about the other one on twitter.
Back in July 2021 he had the eyes on his price and wrote – “Sleepy McGregor” – mocking both the USA president and the ‘retired’ Notorious.
Recently, out of the blue Conor McGregor tweeted – “Who the fuck is this jackass in the pink Jimmy Saville glasses?” – disrespecting the young boxer.
To this Jake Paul replied moments after bragging about his ‘deeds’ for the fighters.
“I’m the one who has done more for fighters than you ever have. The one who has won 5 fights in the past 2 years while you have lost 5. I’m the one who isn’t owned by Dana White. The one who made the fight you just watched happen. I am the one who got your hero Katie Taylor paid. That’s who!” – the boxer slammed.
However, is this just an act? Or do they insult each other for real?
There has been some information that the duo has been in discussion since 2020. The teams of both these stars discussed for arranging a fight worth $50 million.
And to be real, say what you want to say, Jake Paul has a professional boxing record of 5-0-0. And Conor McGregor on the contrary is 0-1-0. So there’s that.
Even if something is ‘cooking’ these two might have another problem rising up here. Jake is Cruiserweight (175-200lbs) and Conor’s division is at 145-155lbs. The weight classes are not even close.
Dana White recently spoke to Logan Paul and said something in the same manner.
“Well, he shouldn’t even be fighting Conor McGregor. These guys, Paul brothers are huge. Logan is huge, and his brother Jake is huge too. Is Jake, 6-foot-1, 210lbs? Conor McGregor is 145, 155lbs. There’s weight classes for a reason. Do you think that Jake could make 170?” – Dana exclaimed.
“And it’s a stretch for Conor to fight at 170. He fought Nate Diaz at 170, that isn’t his fucking weight class, not even close.” – he added.
Nevertheless, they might somehow agree to ‘meet’ with weight. Or even agree to fight despite the difference in weight. When that amount of money is in question everybody starts looking at things with more tolerance. What do you think? Will they fight in the end?
