Last night, damage to his leg from his match against Yoshinobu Kanemaru allowed for YOH to defeat Hiromu Takahashi. Now the former tag team partner of YOH looks to do the same, as SHO gets his chance at Hiromu. SHO was able to defeat Ryusuke Taguchi using the full power of House of Black, and could call upon the forces of darkness tonight to put another roadblock between Hiromu and three consecutive BOSJ victories.
House of Torture Are Doing Things Their Way
SHO tried to block the entrance of Hiromu with a steel chair, only for Hiromu to come out the opposite side of the arena. He’d throw a chair at SHO, before Oiwa was taken out by Hiromu, with SHO using him as a human shield. The leg of Hiromu was attacked with the steel chair, but he’d break the referees twenty count.
Back in the ring, SHO would kick away at Hiromu, while also stomping the leg. Hiromu would respond with a lariat, sending SHO to the floor. He’d toss SHO into the retaining wall, before setting him up on the apron for the Sunset Bomb. Hiromu Bomber would land in the ring, but SHO was able to kick out.
The referee was dropped, but SHO was unable to use his trusty wrench. Hiromu would apply the D, before EVIL would come to ringside. He’d yank the referee from the ring as SHO would tap out. No referee saw the tap out, and this match continued.
SHO would put a metal plate in his boot as EVIL would tangle with Hirmou. Two loaded kicks to the leg, before a submission was applied – and Hiromu drops his third match in a row. SHO’s tricks are always better with backup, and they are starting to pay off.
Bitter Rivals Robbie Eagles & El Phantasmo Clash In Main Event
Back in 2018, Robbie Eagles & El Phantasmo were a blooming tag team in BULLET CLUB, but Eagles would leave to join CHAOS by 2019. ELP took this personally, and would get revenge in back to back tournament matches. Since then, Eagles has reached the top of the division, and tonight will look to shut down ELP to keep in the runnings for this year’s tournament.
ELP would get a cocky start this match, and Eagles would respond in kind. Eagles would nail a spinning heel kick to send ELP to the floor, and kept the pressure up with the Cannonball dive through the ropes. On the floor, Eagles would look for Sliced Bread launching off the ring post, but ELP blocked and hit the lawn dart into the ringpost.
ELP would hit a DDT onto the steel chair, before a basement dropkick would land. A stalling suplex in the ring would follow, before ELP raked at the back. ELP hit a springboard crossbody before the lionsault attempt. Eagles rolled to the floor, and ELP simply followed with a dive. Another dive would see ELP get the worst of it, missing the mats at ringside entirely.
ELP Goes High Risk – Gets Low Reward
ELP would rope walk into a moonsault, but missed and landed hard on his knee. Eagles responded with a double knee strike, crushing ELP’s head between bone and steel. ELP would just make the ring at 19, and Eagles would stomp the knees into the mat.
Springboard dropkick to knee would be followed by Ron Miller Special. ELP was right by the ropes and got free, before blocking Turbo Backpack. He couldn’t get the UFO, and would trade forearm blows with Eagles instead. Roll up would be attempted by ELP, but the referee saw a handful of tights.
Eagles was hit with a Turbo Backpack from ELP, before ELP went for the 450 Splash and missed. Eagles would hit a Burning Hammer, before the Thunder Kiss ‘86 off the top rope. ELP kicked out, and threw a desperate Sudden Death Kick, before setting up CR2. Eagles countered and hit a trio of kicks, before a Tiger Driver into Ron Miller Special.
ELP got the bottom rope again, and stopped Eagles from a dive. He’d take Eagles up top, and hit a Super UFO. CR2 would land, and ELP was slow on the pinfall. Eagles stayed in the fight, and would hit a Poisonrana. 450 Splash to the legs, Ron Miller Special – and ELP finally taps out – ending the best match of the tournament.
