Wheeler Yuta & TJP are neck and neck for the best technical wrestlers in this years tournament. They both are coming into tonight with eight points, a respectable score. Tonight, one will finish at ten points, and the fans will get to see a technical master take on a technical prodigy. Yuta comes in as the ROH Pure Champion, a belt that TJP would love to claim.

TJP & Wheeler Yuta Leave It All In The Ring

Yuta kicked this off with a side headlock, before TJP wiggled and slipped his way free. Another headlock applied, before TJP was able to easily reverse. Yuta would show a fancy escape of his own, showing some cocky flair in the process.

TJP would go after the wrist, adding in an arm drag before looking to control the arm. Yuta applied a head scissor, TJP headstanded his way to freedom, before Yuta hit a body slam into a jumping senton. They traded forearm blows, before TJP got a near fall off a modified Northern Lights Suplex.

TJP would hit the snap armbreaker, before applying the hammerlock. Backslide got a two count, before Muta Lock was applied. Yuta nearly got free, and took a second armbreaker. Yuta would keep on fighting, and got a two count off a bridging German Suplex.

TJP would nail a back suplex, before taking PainThriller. Yuta hit a boot to the face, before TJP went off the ropes for a springboard forearm. Tornado DDT would land out of the corner, before TJP went for the Mamba Splash. Yuta avoided and would hit the Hammer & Anvil elbows.

Yuta got a near fall off an inside cradle, before TJP blocked the Seatbelt Clutch. Some more work would get the finishing hold, and Yuta finished his first tournament with 10 points, while TJP finishes with 8.

SHO Shockingly Cheats To Ensure Victory

Once upon a time, YOH & SHO were together as the tag team Roppongi 3K – and neither man has found much success since going their separate ways. YOH has tried to become a fan favourite, but lacks fire. SHO has joined the worst of BULLET CLUB in House of Torture, and would begin to rely on cheating instead of natural skill. Tonight, they meet once again in singles action – but neither have a chance at making the finals.

As the bell rang, SHO left the ring, cut a quick promo – and said he doesn’t want to give YOH the satisfaction before wandering away. YOH would accept the count out, but SHO ran back – angry that YOH didn’t make chase.

SHO would use the bell hammer as a weapon, before a steel chair. He’d distract the referee by handing him the BOSJ trophy before some chair shots to the back. YOH made a long walk back to the ring, and would block a kick into a Dragon Screw leg whip.

SHO would swing with a wrench, but YOH would grab a steel chair. They put their weapons down, before SHO nailed a powerful mid-kick. German Suplex would land, before YOH dropped the needle on the vinyl.

SHO would shove the referee, hit a low blow, and found a previously hidden wrench. YOH was knocked silly, before Shock Arrow got the win. SHO finishes with 10 points, while YOH finishes with 8 points.

Will YOH get revenge for this dirty finish? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
