A slow start to the tournament for Clark Connors might continue as he faces the erratic style of Ryusuke Taguchi. Taguchi is hot off a win over Francesco Akira, and will look to keep things moving. Connors just about had SHO beat, but fell to a low blow – and will not have to worry about that with Taguchi tonight.

Clark Connors Gets The Ryusuke Taguchi He Wanted Tonight

Taguchi would appear to take this match seriously, grabbing a single leg takedown. He’d look for the armbar, but Connors was able to get the bottom rope. Taguchi would nail the B-Triggers as Connors was on the ropes, before a springboard hip attack.

Connors would take an elbow smash to the rear, but Taguchi found nothing but muscle – especially after a headbutt. Taguchi would fear hip attacks, before taking several in the corner. Connors would get a two count before Taguchi got a roll up and ankle lock attempt.

Taguchi failed to apply the hold, but blocked the spear from Connors with a kick. Bome Ye was attempted, but Connors hit a flying hip attack to block. Both men would trade hip attacks in the middle of the ring, with Taguchi winning out.

Spear was baited from Connors before Taguchi applied the ankle lock. Connors yanked Taguchi into a hip attack for a spear, powerslam, and Trophy Kill for the victory.

    Wheeler Yuta Outwrestles BUSHI

BUSHI & Wheeler Yuta are ready to meet in a first time ever singles match tonight. BUSHI is a trap game for any wrestler in the B-Block, able to beat anyone if they take it lightly. Yuta will be smart to not overlook BUSHI, and could have the skills to outwork him tonight.

BUSHI would get driven hard to the ropes, before Yuta would hit the powerslam and jumping senton. Rolling to the floor, BUSHI would be followed by Yuta who hit some clubbing blows. Back in the ring, BUSHI hit a basement dropkick, before choking Yuta with the shirt before a neckbreaker.

BUSHI would apply a headscissor lock, and used the referees five count as Yuta found the ropes. DDT on the apron was set, but Yuta blocked and sent BUSHI to the floor for a big dive. Diving lariat in the ring would be followed by an attempt at Cattle Mutilation, but BUSHI found the bottom rope.

DDT from BUSHI would spike Yuta on his head, before firing back with a Manhattan Drop into an enziguri. Cattle Mutilation would be applied, but Yuta couldn’t get the tap out. BUSHI blocked PainThriller, before taking the Hammer & Anvil elbow before Seatbelt Clutch got Yuta the victory.

Could Yuta manage a win in the B-Block? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
