She’s not reached out. If you want to speak to your father just do it!” Ms Markle went on, “The idea that it would be justified to disown one’s father because he was photographed, or that he, or that that was opportunist is crazy. [Particularly on] the grounds that the people who are saying that, particularly my sister and Harry, have been quite public and photographed, you know, everywhere, whether it’s Texas or on the grave of fallen war heroes.
I don’t want to get into what is considered opportunistic photography but my father pales by comparison.” She added, “I know what he was doing was admirable and he never should have been disowned and treated that way.” According to media reports, Thomas Markle and Meghan Markle have not talked since 2018 around the time of the royal wedding between Meghan and Prince Harry.
Thomas, a director of photography was not even present when the Sussexes tied the knot in 2018. However, Samantha also disclosed that though her father’s condition is improving, he still has a long way to go before he can return to a perfect condition. She also said that Thomas may require more than six months to speak perfectly well again.
