Tokyo Toni Remains Upbeat About Her Daughter Black Chyna’s Appeal Despite Her GoFundMe Only Raising Around $1000
Blac had sued the family for $100 million on the basis that they had allegedly used their influence in order to get her show ‘Rob and Chyna canceled.’
Thus, the model felt this was the only way she could get justice by recouping the future loss of earnings that she would have otherwise gained.
However, the court did not view it that way as they ruled against Blac. Although that was the case, Blac and Tokyo have made it clear that they intend to appeal the decision.
With that being said, Tokyo is not going to give up without a fight. In an interview with TMZ, she said: “We just want justice and f**king honesty, that’s it.”
Nevertheless, the chances of that happening as of now appear very slim for the following reasons. First of all, it will take a very brave person to overturn the initial ruling given everything that was put out in the public domain.
Secondly, in any event, it is going to take a significant amount of legal fees in order to launch the appeal. While Tokyo has made steps in that regard, by setting up a gofundme campaign, it has failed to produce any results.
With a target of $400,000, Tokyo has managed to raise an embarrassing $900 so far.
Nevertheless, Tokyo has downplayed the significance of that. She expanded on how that campaign was simply as a result of her own efforts.
Thus, Blac could do her own campaign which is bound to be more successful due to the bigger influence that she has in the industry.
Tokyo added: “Her legal team can get her a gofundme, but like I said, whatever we raise is what we raise. It’s the thought that counts.”
