Darby Allin might have been unable to defeat Kyle O’Reilly at Double or Nothing, but he’s still not giving up in his crusade against reDRagon. They injured his mentor Sting, taking him off TV for the past month with an injured leg. Now tonight, Allin has pledged to not just defeat Bobby Fish, but break his leg so he feels the pain of Sting, and O’Reilly knows how it feels to be without his closest ally in AEW. Allin doubled down on this before the match, saying that Fish will not leave the arena without a broken leg.
Bobby Fish & Darby Allin Have A Nasty Brawl
Allin would turn his back on Fish before the bell, and took a kick to the back. This one quickly went to the floor, but a charge from Fish saw Allin leap over him – sending Fish into the barricade. Allin went into the ring and back out with a cannonball suicide dive, crushing Fish into the barricade and knocking a fan into their feet.
Fish would fight back, hitting a Dragon Screw leg whip – launching Allin head first into the barricade. Back in the ring, slingshot senton saw Fish crash onto Allin. Some quick kicks and a sliding lariat would get a near fall, Fish remaining in control.
Fish would waste some time boasting for the crowd, before Allin grabbed the sleeper hold – while also tearing at the eyes. Allin would be dropped before some quick suplexes, with Fish lifting Allin before being spiked with the Scorpion Deathlock. Coffin Drop to the floor, Allin crushing into Fish.
Fish was sent into the ring, but he’d spring forward into a spear, both men tumbling back to the floor. Allin would be run into the steel steps, before Fish applied the tight ankle lock. Fish would move into a German Suplex, Allin bouncing off the apron.
Back in the ring, Fish would go for the Super Falcon Arrow, and moved from the pinfall right into the ankle lock. Allin would block into the Last Supper, getting the shock win. A slick counter gets the win every time.
Sting Is BACK In AEW
Following the match, it looked like Allin was doomed to be beaten down in a two on one situation. Fish would keep the fight coming, and O’Reilly came to the ring with a steel chair in hand. However the lights went out, the temperature dropped, and STING IS BACK!
Bat in hand, he’d fend off reDRagon, first with a low blow to O’Reilly to disarm him. Allin got the chair, and would look to Pillmanize Fish with the Coffin Drop. Sting would attack the knee to add insult to injury, before he’d pose with
