Prince Charles has been slammed after being pictured blowing a kiss towards Kate Middleton during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
FANS Condemn Prince Charles For Blowing A Kiss At Kate In Front Of Harry And Meghan During Jubilee-‘Get His Family Together, How Sad’
This criticism arrives on the back end of his son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s first visit to the UK in front of the British public for two years. And yet, Charles failed to reciprocate a similar sentiment towards his own son.
Reports indicated that a meeting between Harry, Meghan, Duchess Camilla and Charles failed to prove fruitful. So the fact that the following footage showed Charles looking more buoyant than ever, did raise a lot of question marks over his priorities.
In the clip here, we can see that Charles and Camilla have walked up to Kate and Prince William. Then out of nowhere, Charles decides to blow a kiss at Kate.
And given that this was done in front of everyone at the ‘Service of Thanksgiving,’ which Harry and Meghan had attended, it was seen in poor taste.
Neil Sean, who happens to be a Royal expert, had this to say: “In fact, some are saying, [this] is the biggest insult that they’ve received since they departed, of course, and decided to become Megxit.”
Much in the same way, the fans were condemnatory of Charles. This was on the grounds that he did not reciprocate the same behaviour towards Harry and Meghan.
After all, reports indicated that he was the person who had reservations about Meghan’s son Archie’s skin colour even though he had allegedly denied that.
One person wrote: “Sure he blew a kiss, Once a cheater always a cheater,” while another person stated: “If the brothers are not talking, I blame it on their father.
“Prince Charles needs to do better to get his family together. How sad is that.” This just goes on to show the distance between the Royal family with regards to Harry and Meghan.
