The couple’s first interview sent shockwaves across the globe with some very damning revelations.
Meghan admitted she had been driven to the idea of having suicidal thoughts, while Harry also acknowledged that someone within the Royal family had expressed reservations about their son Archie’s skin colour.
And ever since that moment, the relations between the couple and the royals have been at an all-time low. With that being said, the following pictures are not going to do the Royals any favours.
In the pictures here, we can see Harry and Meghan on their way to Oprah’s mansion. Alongside them is their friend and actress Janina Gavankar.
Sources stress that the couple spent around ‘an hour’ at the estate, which happens to be a 5 minute drive from their residence. This begs the question: what could have been the reason for the visit?
Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could have been done for the following reasons. First of all, there could be a possibility that the duo are planning on having another interview.
And since they have just returned from the UK following Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, where they did not receive the best response after having been booed upon exiting the ‘Service of Thanksgiving,’ the couple may want to give their side of the story.
Secondly, this could also have been done in an attempt to promote their Netflix docuseries. News has emerged that the pair have hired Oscar-nominated director Liz Garbus to oversee the project. As such, this would be a great way to get some publicity.
It is not surprising, then, the fans on social media had a lot to say about this. A significant proportion of the people were of the view that there could be another interview in the making.
One person wrote: “If true, they’re ready to put the final nail in the coffin. Nothing good can come of it for them so let the lies begin.”
